Abbey Church of St Vitus, Kloster Gröningen
The view of the church, which was built in the 10th century, is characterised by a flèche, which was built in the 12th century. Inside the church, you will find the remains of Romanesque murals and sculptures of outstanding artistic value, such as the portrayal of Christ as the “World Judge” with the 12 apostles. Furthermore, you will find an angel relief from the 12th century and a tree of life tympanum from the 13t century.
